MSZ-AP units are characterized by ultra-compact dimensions with only 2 dimensional levels for 6 different powers.
Energy efficiency
Thanks to careful design and the introduction of R-32 refrigerant gas, the efficiency of the new MSZ-AP units is significantly increased, reaching class A+++ in cooling (sizes 25 and 35) and A++ in heating on the entire line.
R32: a refrigerant for the future
The R32 refrigerant used in MSZ-AP series air conditioners is characterized by a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than refrigerant gases used until now in residential air conditioning, reducing its potential negative impact on the environment. Its advantages are:

- Reduction in the quantity of refrigerant gas used
- Reduced environmental impact
- Easily chargeable and recoverable as pure gas
- Low toxicity and flammability
Air distribution
Thanks to the presence of the motorized louver it is possible to direct the air flow to achieve maximum comfort in the room in every operating mode (sizes 25-50).
Furthermore, the horizontal flow eliminates annoying air currents towards the occupants.
Silent operation
Environmental comfort is also linked to the sound level and is especially important in bedrooms or studies. For sizes 25/35 the sound emission of the internal unit is only 19dB when operating at minimum speed, guaranteeing maximum acoustic comfort within the environment.
MSZ-AP has a special space for housing the MELCloud interface inside the unit chassis, avoiding leaving the component external and visible in the environment (sizes 25-50). Taking advantage of the "Cloud" support for transmit and receive information and the Wi-Fi interface (MAC-567IF-E), you can easily control your system wherever you are via your PC, tablet or smartphone.
By activating the Night Mode function from the remote control it is possible to prepare the air conditioner for night-time operation.
Advanced filtering
Thanks to the air purifying filter present in the internal unit, the new MSZ-AP model guarantees the removal of dust and bad odors.
Furthermore, for sizes 25-50, it is possible to provide the optional silver ion air purifier filter, which captures bacteria, pollen and other allergens.
Energy monitoring
The new MSZ-AP model supports the energy consumption monitoring function thanks to the MELCloud Cloud remote control system.*
