Partial free cooling
For applications with moderate cooling demand throughout the year (including cold weather), the units can be equipped with Carrier's patented direct expansion free cooling system with a specific pump that bypasses the compressor on one or both refrigerant circuits during industrial operation.
Glycol-free operation, no additional free cooling coil. All this leads to significant energy savings.
Hybrid terminal
The 36XB hybrid terminal combines the advantages of chilled beams with those of the fan coil: energy efficiency, great comfort, very low noise levels and high indoor air quality. The primary ventilation air volume can be controlled based on ambient CO2 levels to optimize comfort and minimize system energy consumption.
