New series of condensing boilers with which FERROLI intends to satisfy the increasingly strict limits on energy consumption required by recent regulations. The range of generators was designed with the new AISI 316 TI stainless steel exchanger capable of guaranteeing energy efficiency and performance, both in heating and in the supply of domestic hot water, at the top of their category. The Bluehelix B floor-standing range achieves one of the highest space heating energy efficiency in the category: ηs 94%. Furthermore, when combined with the external probe and the remote timer control, Romeo reaches system energy class A+.

> COMPONENTS OF THE EXCHANGER
Ferroli oriented its research and design towards an exchanger that was simple and robust in its structure, using first-rate materials. STRUCTURE The exchanger consists of a simple spiral, without joints or welding. The generous section of the pipes allows a free, wide passage of the system fluid. The serpentine shape counteracts the deposit of impurities. The tube bundle is unique, without further parallel circuits. Since it is not a collector-type exchanger, it is impossible for air bubbles to remain in the meanders of the circuits. Furthermore, any chemical washing of the boiler will take place effectively, as there is no possibility of the descaling pump pushing through a free circuit rather than a blocked one.

The savings will actually be even greater, as these are modulating circulators, which at minimum power can reach consumptions of up to just 3 W
The designers have thought of a series of functions capable of guaranteeing the quality of the domestic water, the best power delivery to the heating system combined with a longer life of the appliance.
> SLIDING TEMPERATURE With the installation of the "External probe" kit it is possible to operate the boiler in sliding temperature. This means that without acting on the system temperature adjustment buttons, the boiler will self-regulate based on variations in external temperatures. All this translates into energy savings while ensuring maximum comfort for the user.
> ANTI-LEGIONELLA In order to keep the storage tank in suitable hygienic-sanitary conditions, the product electronics are able to keep it at a temperature of 65°C at programmable time intervals from one to seven days.
> ANTI-BLOCKING In order to avoid blocking and consequent damage to the heating circulator and the three-way diverter valve, after a set period of inactivity, the boiler electronics activate its operation for a few seconds.
> ANTIFREEZE In the event that the temperature in the boiler drops to 5°C, the burner automatically turns on and the circulator is activated in order to protect the appliance from damage caused by frost. This function is active with the boiler powered by the gas circuit and under electrical voltage.
> ECONOMY/COMFORT By activating the appropriate button, heating/temperature maintenance can be excluded by the user (Economy). This allows you to reduce fuel consumption during periods of non-use of domestic water.
