NEW VULCANO New generation thermo fireplaces

Vulcano produces only one range of thermo fireplaces with four different capacities, suitable for heating surfaces
from 0 to 320 m ² . All models have the same aesthetics, however the overall dimensions, weight and water content change. Each model can be requested based on individual system needs: with the primary exchanger only, with the primary and a secondary, with the primary and two secondaries.

Since the exchangers are all inside the thermo fireplaces, in order to identify them, the number of exchangers contained is added to each acronym

The right choice

Heating

Vulcano was not created to just help with the main heating. Instead, it was created to provide homes with all the heat they need.

The thermo fireplaces heat homes of up to 300m ² completely autonomously, without any need to be helped by other generators. This is true even in very cold areas or in poorly insulated homes.

Heating is provided via the existing system, whatever it may be. The new models are equipped with a special thermal flywheel which makes them particularly suitable also for underfloor systems

Domestic Hot Water

The Vulcano thermo fireplace provides hot water in large quantities and at a high temperature like and more than the best gas boilers. It is also equipped with an internal reserve with which it guarantees supply for several hours, even in the absence of fire.

In practice: by loading wood in the morning you have hot water coverage for the whole day. By charging in the evening you will have hot water for the following day too. All directly, without additional exchangers or boilers.

So we can certainly say that during the period of use of the Vulcano thermo fireplace the gas boiler will almost always remain off and the costs will drop dramatically and the performance will increase

It can also be lit from above

Thermo fireplaces perform two distinct functions: that of a boiler and that of a fireplace. Vulcano is the only one to absolve both without penalizing either. From a fireplace perspective, Vulcano works naturally like a classic fireplace. Its use is simple, pleasant and accessible to everyone. Vulcano can be charged in any way. Even placing the wood one on top of the other as if you wanted to stack it. The combustion will be excellent in any case. It can be loaded with both small and large loads of wood. A good charge guarantees 6 or 7 hours of heating autonomy and 12 to 24 hours of hot water

Vulcano burns at any point of the combustion chamber, both in the center and on the sides. Once the flame has been triggered, the wood burns slowly and steadily until it is completely exhausted, without any need for manual intervention. During the entire phase from lighting the fire to extinguishing it, the wood remains motionless. Therefore there is no risk of it falling or even crashing against the glass of the door. Once the charge is exhausted, a plane of embers remains which covers the entire surface of the thermo fireplace. It's the best time for barbecue lovers. From a boiler point of view, Vulcano has the same performance as a gas boiler in both the heating and domestic hot water functions and its management is also extremely simple

The Electronic Control Units

The Vulcano thermo-fireplace control units automatically manage any system situation. To avoid incorrect settings, they are factory calibrated to the best possible operating conditions. Each control unit is equipped with an explanatory sheet containing the electrical diagram, the connection points, the blocks it is equipped with and the related functions. The connection points are also shown on the terminal block

The display block allows you to view the temperature present in the thermo fireplace: up to 29° you see two lines, from 30° to 98° you see the degrees, at 99° they become intermittent. In the descending phase at 97° they become fixed again, at 29° the lines reappear

The pump block it starts and stops the circulator in three ways. Automatically: between 55° and 59° intermittently, over 59° continuously; in the descending phase: up to 60° continuously, below intermittently, at 53° stopped

In the antifreeze function the control unit activates the circulator at 4° and stops it at 5°. Between 5° and 54° it can also be operated manually. Outside these temperatures it goes automatically

The alarm block signals the boiling of the thermo fireplace by means of the acoustic bell and by the intermittent degrees on the display. The heating block allows you to automatically alternate the thermo fireplace with other boilers between 55° and 53°

The summer- winter block allows you to select between hot water supply only and the simultaneous hot water – heating function

The hot water block allows you to control any solenoid valves to alternate the supply of hot water between the thermo fireplace and other producers. The alternation occurs between 43° and 44°
