UNIQA REVOLUTION

A UNIQUE AND BRILLIANT SOLUTION
The European ErP regulation has changed the rules of the game, defining the minimum requirements to be respected for products for space heating and domestic hot water production, in order to significantly reduce CO2 emissions by 2020. According to this regulation, traditional boilers (non-condensing) with sealed chamber can no longer be placed on the market starting from September 2015. In this scenario Sime proposes Uniqa Revolution, the class B boiler, which already complies with the polluting limits of September 2018 and is installed as a traditional, because it does not require ducting the flue and draining the condensate.

Replacing a traditional boiler with a condensing one can be particularly expensive because it requires the construction of a condensate drain and, in some cases, the ducting of the existing flue, which is not suitable for low temperature fumes. The costs of these interventions are significant and are added to those of purchasing and installing the generator. Uniqa Revolution is the only product that is installed like a traditional boiler, while still achieving the strict Ecodesign requirements of the ErP regulation.
Uniqa Revolution is equipped with an active recuperator (booster) which increases performance in accordance with ErP requirements. The heat transfer fluid receives heat from the air taken from outside and conveyed into the 1st active recuperator exchanger. Subsequently the active recuperator motor compresses the fluid and transfers the heat to the return water of the heating system in the 2nd active recuperator exchanger. The water then passes through the low NOx burner, heating further and subsequently into the boiler exchanger.
