In fact, in addition to the already known advantages of condensing technology such as high efficiency, energy saving and reduced polluting emissions, the new Duo-tec+ condensing boilers are characterized by:
Digital control panel
The Duo-tec+ range of boilers is equipped with a digital control panel with backlit LCD display, simple to use thanks to dedicated and independent buttons to regulate the temperature of the domestic water and heating. The display allows you to view all the information and set the operating parameters clearly and immediately.
Wide 1:7 modulation range
Gas Adaptive Control
The innovative GAC ( Gas Adaptive Control ) automatic combustion control system guarantees a wide modulation range up to 1:10: high efficiency and energy savings are ensured as the boiler is able to adapt the thermal power produced to the actual power dissipated by the building avoiding excessive overheating/cooling of the building.
Total modulation pump
The circulation pump can operate at maximum speed, minimum speed or in "automatic" mode: in the latter case, the speed (min./max) will be selected so that the delivery/return ∆T in heating remains constant at 20 °C thus guaranteeing a significant reduction in pump consumption and, given the lower mechanical stresses (compared to a pump that always operates at maximum speed), also in maintenance costs

ErP/EcoDesign – Labeling mandatory from September 2015  Why ErP (Energy related Products)? To be placed on the EU market, a product must have the trademark The Ecodesign and Labeling Directives (eco-compatible design and energy labelling) were created to help the EU achieve the objectives of the EU 20-20-20 Plan, with particular attention to reducing CO2 emissions by 20%, increasing energy efficiency by 20% and an increase in the use of renewable energy by 20%, all by 2020.
For this reason, all heat generators for space heating, appliances for the production of DHW and systems of several of these appliances combined in combination must comply with the requirements for eco-friendly design and be labelled, in accordance with the provisions of the implementing regulations, to be able to be placed on the market by producers.
From 26 September 2015 , the directives will affect all products described above with a Pn ≤ 400 kW for eco-friendly design and with a Pn ≤ 70 kW for labelling, intended for the markets of all countries in the European Economic Area.
What directives are affected?

How is it placed on the market? The placing on the market is carried out by the manufacturer (or by the importer from outside the EU) when the product is made available for the first time on the EU market. This happens when it changes ownership to a distributor (invoice). What products can be sold? All products with the CE mark placed on the market before 01/08 and 26/09 2015 are considered compliant and therefore salable until they are sold out. All products that will be placed on the market (sold) by the manufacturer/importer after these dates will have to comply with the new standards. What is a product according to ErP (Ecodesign)? An appliance designed to operate at maximum efficiency with minimal environmental impact. To fall within this directive the product must have Pn ≤ 400 kW and as regards hot water tanks a volume ≤ 2000 litres. Manufacturers are obliged to place only ErP compliant products on the market with these deadlines:

What is a Combi product according to ErP? An appliance (single or with boiler) for heating and DHW production, already equipped with labeling with energy class information relating to a DHW load profile.
What is a load profile in ACS? For mixed heat generators and DHW producers, the regulations define a specific sequence of water withdrawals as a load profile, essentially a simulation of the daily operation of the product, with different withdrawals at established times, flow rates and ∆t . Therefore a product must be able to provide the declared profile, on which the efficiency in obtaining it will then be calculated, which will determine the class declared on the label. For example:

What is the energy label? The Labeling Directive (2010/30/EU) requires products to be labeled according to a decreasing energy scale ranging from A+++ to G. An energy label is also required for the installed system, depending on the components used ( for example a boiler, DHW tank and room temperature controls). The label was created for the final consumer, providing true and comparable data, to make informed choices and focus on highly efficient products.
