PRIOS R-32
The new objectives of the European Union - defined as "20-20-20 objectives" - in terms of protection and respect for the environment, envisage achieving by 2020 a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, a growth of 20% in the use of renewable resources and a 20% decrease in global energy consumption through improved product efficiency.
To satisfy the requirements of the European Union, European Regulation 206/2012 came into force on 1 January 2013, implementing the ErP Directive 2009/125 EC, relating to air conditioners with a cooling capacity of up to 12 kW. The aim is to promote a new concept of "environmentally friendly product" through minimal energy consumption and therefore a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions into the air.
The ErP Directive now includes air conditioners among these products, which have now become an integral part of everyday life and whose diffusion is becoming increasingly widespread. Ariston responds to these needs by investing, innovating and believing in its resources, to constantly guarantee a result of true excellence.
