Thanks to the new implementations, not only is it possible to direct the flow directly/indirectly, but functions are available that "learn" the habits of the occupants and optimize the efficient and comfortable operation of the unit. The even airflow function, for example, "records" the occupancy profile of the room, creating a mapping that allows the most frequented areas to be optimally air conditioned based on the history.
