The Perfetto is an “ energy storage heat pump air conditioner ”. The product is covered by an International Patent.
The Perfetto air conditioner does not require any type of connection to the outside and uses the principle of Air-Water condensation combined with the ice bank principle. The air conditioner, in fact, has a 37 liter water tank inside which must be filled, on a one-off basis, exclusively at the first start-up.
An easy-to-use connection kit for filling the tank is inserted inside the packaging; the filling procedure is automatic, by activating the loading pump via a button on the touch screen. This allows any user to proceed independently and without errors in filling the tank.
Air conditioner function in Summer cooling:
The air conditioner, working in energy storage ( cold storage ), requires a recharge of approximately 2 hours to be able to use it continuously for approximately 8-10 hours. This does not exclude that, at any time, the air conditioner can be recharged and the duration of operation will be proportional to the charging time (like charging a mobile phone).
When fully recharged, the PERFETTO brings the temperature of the water in the tank to 0.2°C by means of an expansion battery placed on the lower perimeter of the tank; The battery, during the storage (recharging) phase, is brought to -6°C by the refrigeration circuit inside the machine, creating an accumulation of ice on the surface of the battery itself, which will release its energy to the water during operation in the cold of the Perfect.
In cooling, operation occurs in two phases:
In the first phase , lasting approximately 6 hours, a hydraulic electric pump takes the cooled water from the tank and passes it into the battery, on the air delivery side, which is a 2-row battery, one for the passage of the water and one for the passage of freon gas; through a DC inverter fan with Brushless motor, the Perfetto air-conditions and dehumidifies the environment using the water previously cooled during the accumulation period (cold storage) as an exchange fluid in the tank. The water, being stored at a very low temperature, allows the machine high efficiency both in terms of cooling and in terms of dehumidification. In this first phase, the machine is extremely silent as the compressor is stopped and the only noise is generated by the inverter fan and the hydraulic electric pump, we are talking about around 33db(a). The first phase is completed when the water contained in the tank, after 6 hours of exchange with the ambient air, reached 18°C and, therefore, its exchange power was reduced;
At this point the second phase , where the compressor starts in support, air conditioning through the freon gas which will pass to the other row of the delivery side coil, releasing heat inside the tank (water condensation). This phase lasts approximately 2 hours, in any case until the water in the tank reaches 50°C which is the condensation limit of any residential air conditioner, whether air or water condensed.
At this point the Perfetto stops, and it needs to be recharged with energy through storage, which lasts about 2 hours.
The average total consumption in cooling for 10h of use:
Charging (approximately 700w*2h) = 1,400w
+ Operation 6h x 30w = 180w + 2h x 700w = 1,400w (compressor active)
Total: 1.400w + 180w + 1.400w = 2.980w / 10 hours =
=average absorption approximately 300 W/h (data subject to variation based on operating conditions), one of the lowest absorptions on the market today. In cooling mode, the machine is suitable for air conditioning rooms up to approximately 15m2 with a room height of approximately 2.7m

Air conditioner function in winter heating:
The Perfect Air Conditioner has two options for HOT operation:
- Immediate use without energy storage and therefore with a performance comparable to that of a normal air conditioner, of around 9,000 btu/h, with heat pump.
- With an energy storage, with a recharge lasting approximately 2 hours, using the air conditioner, at the start, with the water stored at 30°C, therefore raising the yield to the maximum and, when the stored energy runs out, making it work, as indicated above.
In hot operation, if the supply air temperature is lower than 35°C, an electric resistance on the fan comes into support, obtaining a supply air temperature between 55°C and 60°C, allowing extremely fast heating of the 'environment. Naturally, once the set point of 35°C is exceeded, the electrical resistance switches off.
With prolonged use, of approximately 10 continuous hours, in a standard environment, the temperature limit of -6C° is reached in the direct expansion coil inside the tank; at that point the air conditioner stops when the maximum operating limit for water condensation is reached, and it will be necessary to recharge again ( heat storage ).
The average total heating consumption for 10 hours of use will be:
charging (approximately 1,000w*2h) = 2,000w
+ operation 8 00 w x 8h approximately = 6,400w
= average absorption with energy storage carried out 840w (data subject to variation based on operating conditions)
In heating mode, the machine is suitable for air conditioning rooms up to approximately 15m2 with a room height of approximately 2.7m.

By starting this cycle it is possible to carry out dehumidification by choosing an ambient temperature between 20° and 32°.

It is also possible to use the Perfetto for the sole ventilation of rooms while maintaining the room temperature unchanged.

Condensation :
The machine does not need a condensate drain because all that produced, both during cooling and heating, is introduced into the tank, compensating for the water evaporated during the operating processes.

NB: We point out that the machine, in storage operation ( energy accumulation ) only in cooling , disperses hot air into the environment. It is advisable to carry out storage ( energy accumulation ) in an environment that does not need to be air conditioned or near an opening to the outside.
