General characteristicsMel Cloud, Wi-Fi controlMELCloud is the new Wi-Fi solution that allows you to control your Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners from a PC, Tablet or Smartphone connected to the internet. MELCloud is the new Wi-Fi control for your Mitsubishi Electric system! By taking advantage of the support of the cloud (the "Cloud") to transmit and receive information and the dedicated Wi-Fi interface (MAC-567IF-E), you can easily control your system wherever you are via your PC, tablet or smartphones; all you need is an internet connection. Accessing MELCloud is simple and can be done in two ways: Through the main browsers (Smartphone, Tablet and PC). The main operating systems supported are: Microsoft Windows 8, Apple iOS / OS, X Android System registration To activate the MELCloud service it is necessary to proceed with system registration. Air conditioner control Main functions: Mode (Auto/Heating/Cooling/Ventilation) Ventilation speed Programmable weekly timer Flap inclination adjustment Room temperature detection and setting Weather information of the installation location (the completeness of the functions depends on the model of indoor unit connected) System elements: Access Points / Routers (WPS) Necessary requirements: The router must have the WPS button The permitted communication protocols are WPA2-AES or WPA2 Mixed Mode Wi-Fi interface An interface is required for each Mitsubishi Electric indoor unit or hydronic module that you want to control via Wi-Fi.
