Principle of operation

• The operation of the magnetic dirt separator filter is based on three principles:
• the mechanical filtration of the steel mesh which retains the impurities; the magnetic field for the separation of the ferrous particles
• a large calming chamber for the settling of dirt

Thanks to the particular profile of the deflector, the impurities present in the water are directed and precipitated into the settling chamber where they are collected. The magnet, positioned in front of the flow direction, effectively separates the ferrous particles. The 800 μm filter mesh intercepts the remaining impurities.

The room is equipped with transparent windows through which it is possible to check at any time the need for cleaning of the internal elements which can therefore only be carried out when strictly necessary.+

The particular shape of the shut-off valve allows cleaning of the internal elements by discharging only the water contained in the filter.

Construction details

Design

Thanks to the particular white and chrome aesthetic, the filter adapts easily to the home environment.

The extremely small dimensions make it suitable for all types of generators, installed in both new and redeveloped systems.

Neodymium magnet

The neodymium magnet is positioned so as to attract the metal particles with high effectiveness, in front of the flow. The magnet is not in direct contact with the fluid, a feature which simplifies cleaning operations.

Installation

The filter must be installed exclusively horizontally. The spigot with movable cap supplied allows you to connect the filter directly to the boiler using, for example, a flexible fitting.

Maintenance

After checking the clogging status of the filter, it is possible to carry out cleaning with a few simple operations, shutting off the filter using the appropriate ball valve. The filter cartridge can be washed under running water.

Additives and flushing via kit F0001037 (optional)

The filter can be used as an access point for introducing chemical additives into the circuit for washing and protecting the system, using the appropriate kit.

Flushing

The filter can also be used to flush the system, using the hose holder supplied with the kit.
