La Nordica Extraflame pellet stove

We don't need the normal wooden logs that we are all used to seeing, but tiny pre-compressed products, i.e. pellets, these are ecological fuels with very high caloric efficiency, obtained by pressing residues and fragments of the best wood, without the addition of glues. Suffice it to say that the real yield of the same is close to 90%.

The innovative La Nordica Extraflame pellet stoves have been added to the already traditional wood stoves on the market.

The control panel allows automatic ignition and setting of the heating power, establishing the desired temperature thanks to the built-in room thermostat.

The La Nordica-Extraflame group has joined the voluntary Aria Pulita certification, the new quality certification of wood and pellet domestic heating products

This project includes a Certification Committee composed of ENEA, LEGA AMBIENTE, NATIONAL CONSUMER UNION coordinated by AIEL, Italian Association of Agroforestry Energies.

The expected indication, very simple and intuitive thanks to the use of an increasing classification from 1 to 5 stars based on the performance of the products in terms of greater efficiency and lower emissions, will allow each user to recognize the qualities of the stove he purchases in the full compliance with the most restrictive technical parameters and indications on emissions into the environment.

Aria Pulita is therefore not a mere response to the temporary contingencies of exceeding the emission limits in a limited period of the year in a specific area or region, but rather it is a concrete guarantee for consumers throughout Italy that certified products contribute to improving the air quality, health and the environment based on the cornerstones of transparency, objectivity and clarity

Materials and components

Cast Iron Nordica-Extraflame has always used the best cast iron for the production of its products. Majolica The long manufacturing cycle (two weeks) necessary to obtain a majolica, despite making use of the latest technological supports to guarantee total quality, must be carried out completely by hand. The result is that each majolica is a beautiful, unique and unrepeatable piece and the particularities that can be found on each individual majolica such as cracks, punctuations and shading are the guarantee of this.

Ceramic glass Compared to normal glass, glass-ceramic has a coefficient of thermal expansion equal to almost zero, so that it does not deform due to the heat and represents an indispensable material for all fireplaces and stoves, where not only flat but also angled sheets are used, rounded or even three-dimensional and in various sizes.

Nordiker For the production of refractories, Nordica-Extraflame has developed Nordiker, a special material which, thanks to its resistance, allows high combustion temperatures to be reached.
