Exterior
Low NOx wall-mounted gas water heater for external installations without flue gas ducts
EXTERNO is an A3 type instantaneous gas water heater with frontal smoke exhaust and suitable for installation outdoors without smoke evacuation ducts. The water heater is equipped with a combustion unit which, in combination with a LOW NOx type micro-flame burner, guarantees polluting levels below the parameters imposed by the severe limitations of the European ErP directive. EXTERNO was designed exclusively for external installations such as on balconies, attics or dedicated shafts. The casing is made up of two molded and IPX5D insulated shells and the water circuit inside the appliance is protected with electrical resistors, mounted as standard, and managed by the electronic board. These measures allow EXTERNO to function correctly up to extreme conditions of -20°C.
- All the devices are supplied as standard with the remote timer control (and 10 meter long connection cable) equipped with a large interface display and simple control buttons, to make adjustment easy and intuitive.
SOLAR FUNCTION
All models in the EXTERNO range can be easily installed in combination with a solar heating system for the production of domestic hot water. The hydraulic circuit with its components have been designed to function even at the high temperatures of the water coming out of the panels.
ECO FUNCTION
Through the remote control, it is possible to activate the ECO function. When operating in ECO mode, the EXTERNO water heater will automatically set the hot water outlet temperature at 42°C and at a reduced power equal to approximately 75% of the nominal power
CHILD PROTECTION
If the hot water temperature is set to a very high value, each time the water heater is switched OFF, the delivery temperature will be automatically brought back to 48°C so that the next withdrawal takes place in complete safety.
The EXTERNO series of water heaters does not have on-board controls. The control, setting and regulation functions of the DHW temperature are delegated to a remote control supplied as standard, complete with connection cable. The interface display and control keys have been designed to make use of the control as simple and intuitive as possible. In the event of an anomaly and/or malfunction of the water heater, the indication on the display is accompanied by an audible signal.
