Strato represents the evolution of pipes for the transport of drinking water and for radiator heating. A product that combines the lightness and ease of installation of traditional multilayer with the unique performance of copper pipe in terms of resistance to pressure and high temperatures, hygiene and bacteriostaticity, low pressure drops and reduced internal roughness .
Strato is manufactured according to the UNI 11342 standard: "Seamless copper and polyethylene composite tubes for fluid supply", it is obtained through the co-extrusion of a specific copper tube of reduced thickness with an indissoluble layer of polyethylene. It is then insulated externally with an insulating covering in closed cell expanded polyethylene compliant with Law 10/91, implementing decree DPR 412/93 and subsequent updates.
The quality of the raw material used and the characteristics of the coating make the product particularly suitable for the distribution of drinking water (in compliance with Ministerial Decree 174/04) and for high-temperature radiator heating systems. Ease of installation and bending, absence of memory effect , lightness, excellent quality/price ratio , wide choice of fittings to match, reliability and safety, make Strato the truly innovative solution among the latest generation pipes for plumbing and heating uses.

- Resistance to pressure and high temperatures: Strato does not fear sudden increases in pressure, since its metallic nature gives it very high mechanical resistance
- Hygiene and bacteriostaticity: It is totally hygienic and fights bacterial proliferation. It complies with Ministerial Decree 174/04: drinking water comes into contact only with the copper surface, guaranteeing the absence of odors and flavors
- Absence of welding: The copper tube contained inside is obtained through a continuous drawing process, unlike traditional multilayers which involve the longitudinal union of the aluminum layer through different technologies
- Total waterproofness and 100% oxygen barrier: Its metal core makes it impervious to gases: there is no risk of leaks and/or contamination from the inside to the outside and vice versa. In heating systems, the presence of oxygen which can attack boilers, pump impellers or other metal parts is avoided
- Flexibility and workability: Strato can be bent by hand even with reduced bending radii and does not suffer any memory effect while maintaining the acquired shape
- Low linear thermal expansion coefficient: Unlike plastic pipes, thermal expansion is extremely limited, thus guaranteeing dimensional stability even when the temperature of the transported fluid varies
- Low pressure drops: Strato has an extremely low internal roughness (1.5μm compared to 7μm of traditional multilayers). This means lower pressure drops and a lower tendency to suffer limescale encrustations
